Access Google Applications using 2-Way Authenticated Account

             Two Way Authentication provides you a second layer of security which prevents you from logging in certain google applications.There is a solution for this also.Using Application Specific passwords you can easily log in to your favourite google application.First of all what you have to do is generate the Application Specific Password for the particular application you wish to use using your account protected by 2-Way Authentication process.

How to generate Application Specific Passwords

  • Login to your account protected with Two Way Authentication.
  • Then go to Account settings by clicking the settings button.
  • Then select Accounts and Import
  • Select the Security tab in Other Google Account settings.
  • Click on the Edit button near Authorizing applications and sites
  • It will show a screen like this
  • Now enter the name of the application you are going to use and click Generate Password
  • It will show the generated password for your application
  • Now enter the password on your application and log in.
